*ソリダリティー・フォーレバー :
この歌は、現在、アメリカでもっとも良く知られている労働歌です。
歌詞は、1915年にIWW（世界産業労働組合）の中心的な活動家の一人だった、ラルフ・チャプリンが書いたものです。
曲は、南北戦争の時の北軍の行軍歌、 “John Brown’s Body” （ジョン・ブラウンの屍）の曲です。（日本ではどういうわけか、「お玉杓子は蛙の子」になってしまいましたが）
（ジョン・ブラウンは、南北戦争の直前に、息子らと共に奴隷制度廃止を掲げて蜂起を呼びかけ、南部の兵器庫を襲撃し、死刑になった人です。白人です）

貪欲な寄生虫とわれわれが、一緒にやれることが何かあるか？
この二番の冒頭の句は、IWWの規約前文の冒頭部分と同じです。
“The working class and the employing class have nothing in common.”
労働者階級と雇用者階級に、何も共通なものはない。

根本的に非和解だという宣言です
